Muslim children growing in the United States face various challenges, including conflicting messages, and peer pressure. They are constantly influenced and exposed to mainstream culture. At this young age, it is difficult for them to clearly differentiate between right and wrong. As parents, we play an integral role in providing guidance and sound advice to our children. However, we are still faced with huge challenges.
Therefore, AIC established Weekend School in 2009 to provide a structured environment to help our children learn Islam, its rich heritage, principles, values, and teachings. At AIC, it is our objective to provide a healthy and rewarding learning experience for Muslim students, and we are committed to provide a sound Islamic educational environment.
Every child looks for a role model to follow in their footsteps, the youth today have many options to follow in their daily life but the only role model that is truly worth following is Mohammad(s). This is why Attawheed focuses on the Seerah of Rasulullah to inspire our children to be more like the messenger of Allah.
With the help of Allah, AIC provides quality teaching environment to help our children learn Quran and Sunnah and accept Islam as their chosen way of life.
Our request to all parents is to please be involved in the success of your children and to invest in building a future generation of pious Muslims.
