When the children of the Ummah are young, they are taught the Quran and Hadith and our history and they become little masters of information about our beautiful religion. However, what happens after that? This is where Tarbiya comes in.
It is a mission to take the tools that our young Ummah have been taught and help them apply and utilize those tools in their everyday lives so that they can strike a perfect balance between Deen and Dunya. We can achieve this by having Tarbiya classes with young girls and boys and tackle their everyday real life problems and concerns with an Islamic/Muslim lens-which will forever teach generations to come how to approach their lives in the best way we know how; through Islam. Ultimately, Tarbiya classes will translate religious rules and histories into advice on how to deal with anything life brings to our impressionable youths.
